How the Brabus Bodo V12 is Shaking the Hypercar Realm

Discover the all-new Brabus Bodo V12, a 1,000-hp Hyper-GT based on the Aston Martin Vanquish. Explore its extreme performance, carbon design, and tech innovations.

The BRABUS BODO represents a new chapter in the history of the German tuning powerhouse BRABUS. Created as a tribute to founder Bodo Buschmann, the hyper-GT was engineered to combine extreme luxury, aggressive styling, and brutal performance in an ultra-exclusive package limited to just 77 units worldwide. More than a traditional grand tourer, the BODO was conceived as a statement of the brand’s philosophy, blending intimidating presence, handcrafted engineering, and cutting-edge technology. Inspired by classic European GT cars, the model features a full carbon-fiber body with muscular lines, a low-slung silhouette, and aerodynamic elements designed to ensure stability at speeds exceeding 300 km/h.

Under the hood lies a handcrafted 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine equipped with a sophisticated RAM-AIR system, high-efficiency turbochargers, and a bespoke electronic management setup developed specifically for this project. The powertrain delivers an astonishing 1,000 horsepower and 1,200 Nm of torque, sent exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission paired with an electronic locking differential. These numbers place the BRABUS BODO among the fastest and most extreme GT cars in the world, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds, from 0 to 300 km/h in 23.9 seconds, and reaching an electronically limited top speed of 360 km/h. Despite its hypercar-level performance, the car still preserves the refinement and comfort expected from a luxury grand tourer.

The design is one of the most striking aspects of the project. The front fascia features a unique visual signature with Matrix LED headlights and a massive grille composed of 13 vertical slats, complemented by enormous air intakes designed to feed the V12 engine and cool the mechanical systems. Its long and low silhouette reinforces the dramatic appearance, while the extensive use of exposed carbon fiber and “Piano Black” finishes creates an intimidating yet sophisticated identity. Inside, the handcrafted philosophy continues with premium leather upholstery, carbon-fiber trim, exclusive BRABUS “Shell” quilting, a leather-and-Alcantara sports steering wheel, and individual rear seats that transform the cabin into a luxurious high-performance lounge on wheels.

One of the most innovative features of the BRABUS BODO is its “Digital Product Passport,” a blockchain-based system developed in partnership with the Aura Blockchain Consortium. This technology records authenticity, ownership history, and vehicle specifications, effectively creating a permanent digital identity for every unit produced. The car also features a suspension system co-developed with KW, carbon-ceramic brakes, forged 21-inch Monoblock Z-GT “Shadow Edition” wheels, and bespoke Continental SportContact 7 tires engineered specifically for the model. The result is a vehicle that combines classic mechanical brutality — completely free from electrification — with modern engineering and connectivity solutions. The BRABUS BODO is not simply a one-million-euro hyper-GT; it is the ultimate tribute to Bodo Buschmann’s legacy and a showcase of what BRABUS can achieve when no limits exist.
